What makes a hybrid hose better than standard rubber or PVC?
Rubber hoses are heavy and stiff, especially in cold weather. PVC hoses are light but
kink easily and degrade with hot water. The Slayer's hybrid construction combines a PVC

commercial setups. Longer hoses have a slight pressure drop at the nozzle; for maximum PSI
on long runs, size up the hose diameter.
Can I use the Slayer hose for drone-assisted pressure washing?
Yes — the 1/4" × 35' and 50' models are used by drone-assisted cleaning operators. The
hybrid construction keeps weight low for tethered aerial operation while polyester braiding
ensures the hose holds shape under tension without collapsing. Pair it with the
spring-driven reel (PWHYR1435 or PWHYR1450) for a managed feed system at the base unit.
What is burst pressure and why does it matter?
Burst pressure (10,500 PSI on all Slayer hoses) is the pressure at catastrophic failure.
The 3× ratio — 3500 PSI working × 3 = 10,500 PSI burst — gives headroom for pressure
spikes, transient pulses from machine startup, and partial kink events that momentarily
amplify pressure in the line.
How do the Slayer hose reels work and what are they compatible with?
Slayer reels are spring-driven, wall-mount retractable reels designed to pair with the
1/4" Slayer hose. Pull the hose to your working length — the spring holds it in position.
Give a slight tug to release and the spring retracts it automatically. M22 inlet,
